Design & Contract

Design work developed to produce finished works to Client satisfaction and negotiated with Local Authority and Statutory bodies.

Drawing work undertaken to obtain outline and full Planning permission and Building Control Approval. Listed Building Consent and permission for property situated in conservation areas also negotiated.

Specification work drafted, tenders obtained and negotiated, and contracts entered into acting on behalf of the Client.

Surveys

All types of surveys undertaken from Structural Surveys to Building Pathology investigation and Condition Surveys to Dilapidation Surveys. Specialist Surveys also carried out such as Asbestos Surveys and Access Audits for disability assessments.

Reports compiled on information gathered and drawings compiled to required standards where needed.

Defect diagnosis undertaken and Remedial Works specified to ensure a satisfactory conclusion for properties with problems.

Specialist Surveys carried out for Asbestos identification to Type 1, 2 and 3 levels including Sample taking and Analysis with Management Guidance and Advice for 'Effective Management'.

Access Audits undertaken to meet DDA requirements and advice given to improvement environments for people with impairments to BS 8300: 2001 and the latest Code of Practice.

Adjudication

Our Registered Construction Adjudicator (AICA) can provide a full and proper adjudication service for contract provisions or under the "Scheme" as required under the Housing, Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act.

Disability Access Audits

Access Audits undertaken in line with current standards (Part M of the Building Regulations, BS 8300: 2001 and the Code of Practice for Access Goods, Facilities, Services and Premises) and advice given in report form for access improvement and environment development to give all persons with impediments to gain access to property.
